From our Boating Lake to our adventure golf course, from outdoor adventures to our exciting indoor multi level soft play area, from our musical trail to our woodland walks; there’s plenty of fun to be had on our 35-acre Secret World of Play and Trains nestled in the heart of the Cornish Countryside.
Open all year, children can let off steam in our exciting indoor multi level soft play, whilst adults refuel in the comfort of our comfortable modern cafe. Accessible on all days that Lappa Valley is open and included in the price of your admission.

The Engine Shed, located right in the heart of Lappa Valley, offers a range of excellent light bites, lunches, snacks and drinks all year round. We offer homemade comfort food which all the family can enjoy, using a range of local suppliers. With hot meals, sandwiches, soups and a tempting array of cakes available, there will be something for everyone.
Also open daily from March to October, The Crib Hut is the ideal place for easy, grab and go light bites, like pasties, sausage rolls, filled rolls, hot and soft drinks and lovely locally sourced ice cream!
We have a wonderful fleet of locomotives here at Lappa Valley, all with their own story and history behind them. We are lucky enough to have engines designed and built by some of the foremost railway engineers in the industry.
No family day out with children would be complete without a trip to the gift shop! We have a range of toys, gifts and Lappa Valley merchandise on sale. We are committed to reducing our plastic use in the shop and increasing our range of sustainable toys and ethical suppliers. Pop in for a look around as you wait for your train to take you back to your car.
The Station Flat is situated above the Ticket Office at Benny Halt, right next to the Lappa Valley railway.
