We are open throughout the year, and every day until the end of September
Park in our car park at Benny Halt, buy your ticket at the Ticket Office and catch one of our regular trains into our Secret World of Play and Trains.
We run varying timetables throughout the season. To find the train times for your selected day, simply use the colour coded information below the calendar.
Please note that we don’t have a booking system – just turn up!
No Colour means Lappa Valley is CLOSED.
Please arrive at least 15 minutes prior to your desired train departure time to allow time to purchase tickets and board the train.
All our main activities are included in your admission price, including unlimited rides on all three of our railways!
(Please note, we do have some electric ride-on cars and two small sit-on rides which are an additional cost).
The first train departs at: 10:00am.
The ticket office opens at 9.30am.
Lappa Valley closes at 4.20pm.
Additional trains run at peak times.
From time-to-time Lappa Valley or other authorised parties carry out photography and/or video recording at the attraction for promotional purposes, which may feature visitors and staff. If you have concerns over this then please chat to a member of staff.

10.00am, 10.40, 11.20, 12.00pm, 12.40, 1.20, 2.00, 2.40, 3.20 and 4.00
On GREEN days, the first train departs at: 10.00am.
The ticket office opens at 9.30am.
Lappa Valley closes at 4.20pm.

NOTE – THE PEDALO SWANS AND NEWLYN DOWNS BRANCHLINE ARE CLOSED ON LILAC DAYS AND TRAINS ARE DIESEL HAULED.

Public Service Adult; defined as holders of a blue light card or military / navy / police ID card.
Concessions and discount vouchers must be presented prior to ordering tickets on admission.
Lappa Valley does not guarantee steam or diesel locomotives on any particular service on any specific day. Steam or Diesel locomotives may be used on any service. Diesel locomotives will be used on all LILAC timetable dates.
