Opening times and prices
Lappa Valley is CLOSED for General Admission on the following dates: 29th/30th November; 6th/7th December; 13th/14th December; 19th – 24th December. This includes Lappa Valley Members.
Park in our car park at Benny Halt and catch one of our trains into our Secret World of Play and Trains!
Although we do have a very small number of walk-in spaces available, we highly recommend pre-booking.
Please arrive at least 15 minutes prior to your preferred train departure time to allow time to purchase tickets and board the train.
If you are a Lappa Valley Member, you can pre-book your free space by logging into your online account on the booking system. If you haven’t set up your account, please click here to create your password.
Please note that no colour means Lappa Valley is closed.
The below prices are valid for visits on General Admission Days until 27th March 2026 inclusive. Please see above regarding available activities.
The below prices are valid for visits from 28th March - 1st November 2026 inclusive.
All our main activities are included in your admission price, including unlimited rides on all three of our railways!
(Please note, we do have some electric ride-on cars and two small sit-on rides which are an additional cost).
From time-to-time Lappa Valley or other authorised parties carry out photography and/or video recording at the attraction for promotional purposes, which may feature visitors and staff. If you have concerns over this then please chat to a member of staff.
No other concessions or special offers apply with family saver tickets, Blue Card Holder admission or Access 4 All admission. Any concessional admission rates using these means will apply to card holder only.
Concessions and discount vouchers must be presented prior to ordering tickets on admission.
Lappa Valley does not guarantee steam or diesel locomotives on any particular service on any specific day. Steam or Diesel locomotives may be used on any service. Diesel locomotives will be used on all LILAC timetable dates.

Downloaded directly to your phone for convenience, as well as free entry to Lappa Valley you will also be able to book tickets for our special events in advance before anyone else – and even enjoy free entry to other attractions too!
