Lappa Valley to pass on “Great British Summer Savings” to visitors
We’re pleased to share that Lappa Valley is taking part in the UK Government’s Great British Summer Savings campaign, helping families enjoy days out for less this summer.
From 25 June to 1 September 2026 inclusive, the Government is temporarily reducing VAT on qualifying family attractions and children’s meals from 20% to 5%. At Lappa Valley, we’ll be passing the full VAT reduction directly on to our visitors.
That means lower admission prices for visits during this period, making it even easier for families to enjoy a full day of trains, play, adventure and memory-making together.
The reduction also applies to qualifying food items from our children’s menu, so little explorers can enjoy their favourite meals at the lower 5% VAT rate too.

Our new prices for visits from 25 June 2026 are now live on our booking system.

If you’ve already pre-booked a visit with us during the Great British Summer Savings period, you should have already received an email from us with more information.
A full day of summer fun
As always, admission to Lappa Valley includes unlimited rides on our three railways, plus our main activities including adventure play, indoor soft play, adventure golf, pedalo swans, the Newlyn Downs Branch Line, Lakeside Railway and much more.
We know family days out can be a big part of the summer holidays, and we’re delighted to be passing this saving on in full to help make those special days together a little more affordable.
