Lappa Valley named double finalist in the 2025-26 Cornwall Tourism Awards
Lappa Valley named double finalist in the 2025-26 Cornwall Tourism Awards.
Lappa Valley has been shortlisted as a finalist in two categories of the 2025-26 Cornwall Tourism Awards.
The popular attraction near Newquay is once again a contender for Large Visitor Attraction of the Year, a title it has proudly held previously for the two consecutive years. In addition, Lappa Valley’s popular hands-on Driver Experiences have been recognised in the Active and Learning Experience category for the first time.
The Cornwall Tourism Awards highlight the very best of the county’s visitor economy. Each finalist is assessed through a rigorous judging process, including a mystery visit by industry experts.
Keith Southwell, owner of Lappa Valley, said:
“We’re delighted to be recognised in two categories this year. To be listed alongside so many highly respected attractions is a real honour. I’d like to thank our fantastic team for their dedication, and of course, our visitors for their continued support.
“Being named finalists is the icing on the cake for what has been another successful year for Lappa Valley, as we continue to grow and evolve our offering for families – both visiting and locally.
“We look forward to the awards evening and wish the best of luck to our fellow finalists.”
In 2025 Lappa Valley has welcomed a record number of visitors, held incredible events including their Railway 200 Gala, made major investments in infrastructure and even released their own song into the charts.
The winners will be announced at a ceremony in Truro Cathedral this November.
