Our Grand Fireworks Spectaculars have become a firm favourite for all the family to enjoy and they are bigger and better than ever for 2026!
Join us over two magical nights for the return of Lappa Valley’s famous Fireworks Spectaculars – a memorable family-friendly event including an incredible fireworks display centred around our historic 19th Century Engine House.
Experience a rare opportunity to ride one of our trains through the twilight, before arriving at a magical East Wheal Rose – adorned with festoon lights and illuminated Engine House.
The Engine Shed featuring our indoor soft play area will be open for children to let off steam, meanwhile our outdoor adventure play areas will also be open including our popular Adventure Golf – plus you’ll be able to enjoy a ride on the Lakeside Railway too.
Theres plenty to eat and drink as well – The Engine Shed Cafe will be open serving a range of delicious hot and cold food, snacks as well as warming winter drinks alongside soft and alcoholic beverages.
Our well stocked glow products stall will be on hand to purchase glow sticks, glow glasses, headbands and more.

Do I have to pre-book?
Yes! Our Fireworks Spectaculars are extremely popular and therefore we will only be taking pre-bookings ahead of the event.
We regret we will be unable to allow admission to anyone who has not pre-booked their visit.

Can I use my Lappa Valley Membership for admission?
Your Lappa Valley Membership does not include free admission to our Fireworks Spectaculars. However, you will have early access to booking before anyone else.

Which activities will be open during the Fireworks Spectacular?
The Engine Shed cafe and soft play, the adventure golf course and the outdoor play areas, will be open as will the Main and Lakeside Railways.
The Pedalo Swans, Newlyn Downs Branchline, Woodland Walk, Musical Walk and Electric ride-on vehicles will be closed.
Please note that due to safety protocols, the Adventure Play Areas and Lakeside Railway will be closed and everyone must be inside the designated safety area shortly before the display begins.

Can I catch an earlier train?
Afraid not. All available spaces are assigned on all the trains, so we will not be able to accomodate you on an earlier service.

I am visiting Lappa Valley in the day - can I stay at the park for the Fireworks?
Unfortunately not. The fireworks company will need to get everything set up and therefore for safety reasons visitors will not be allowed to stay on site in between.

How about getting home?
Regular trains will be running on demand at the end of the display, getting people home as quickly as possible.

Can I bring sparklers?
Unfortunately the use of sparklers is prohibited.

How long is everything open for?
Our activities and Engine Shed Soft Play will be open until the last train at around 9pm. The outdoor play areas will remain closed after the display. So you’re welcome to stay and play, or indulge in a bite to eat or drink after the display if you’d like.

Can I cancel or change my booking?
Once booked, we do not offer refunds of monies paid for tickets. Limited changes may be possible subject to availability and to an administration fee (£5.00).
No refunds will be provided should you miss any train that still operates, including in cases of severe weather, illness or failure of transport bringing you to Lappa Valley.

Lappa Valley Memberships, discount return cards or any other discount voucher / complimentary tickets are not valid at this event. This event is strictly pre-booking only.
Once places are allocated, please contact us directly if you require additional tickets for your group. Due to limited availability, we cannot always guarantee this will be possible.
Cancellation & Refund Policy
- Once booked, we do not offer refunds of monies paid for tickets. Limited changes may be possible subject to the terms above.
- Should any advertised train service be cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances, tickets may be transferred to an alternative train (Subject to availability) or a full ticket refund will be provided (minus the transaction fee made at the time of initial booking and any subsequent administration fees)
- Should the entire event be cancelled due to circumstances beyond our control, a full ticket refund will be provided (minus the transaction fee made at the time of initial booking and any subsequent administration fees)
Lappa Valley are not be liable for any consequential loss.
