Useful information and Frequently Asked Questions

About your booked train
The time you booked is the time of your train which leaves the car park at Benny Halt. Please ensure you allow at least 20 minutes prior to your departure time to park and check in.
Please do not arrive too early – we want to keep a steady flow of arrivals throughout the day so people don’t have to queue.
The car park will be very busy and we want to ensure everyone has a space – so we politely ask you to follow the instruction of the car parking attendants and park respectfully.
We will be running additional trains alongside our scheduled ones – so in the unlikely event that space is a bit tight on your booked train please don’t worry, we’ll get you on the next one and the maximum amount of time you should wait is 20 minutes. We have a play area at our Ticket Office to keep our little visitors entertained.

What do I need to bring with me?
You must bring your confirmation email with the QR code viewable. You can either print this out, or have it available to view on your device.
Please note that being in the middle of the Cornish countryside, mobile reception is poor at the ticket office. Therefore we highly recommend downloading this to your device beforehand (a screenshot will suffice).

Inclement Weather
The event will still go ahead, even if it’s raining! The Lappa Valley ethos is to get your waterproofs on and embrace whatever Mother Nature throws at us!

In the very unlikely event that extreme weather changes any arrangements, we will email everyone directly and also post updates on social media.
