Silver Award Winner

Lappa Valley Steam Railway has been Awarded Silver in Small Attraction of the Year at the 2017/18 Cornwall Tourism Awards.

Managing Director Keith Southwell said, "Myself and the team are so happy to have been recognised in the Cornwall Tourism Awards, this really gives us the mark of a quality Cornish attraction. We have all been working so hard on all of the improvements being made to the park and visitor experience and we are all so proud of this award acknowledging what a great family attraction we are.”

Lappa Valley is celebrating over 40 years of operation and is owned and managed by Keith and Sara Southwell who purchased the attraction in 2014.   Keith and Sara are heavily involved in a programme of investment in significant enhancements for the railway and leisure park over the next five years with a view to making Lappa Valley the ‘must visit’ attraction in Cornwall. Keith added "We have some exciting plans ahead, so watch this space!"
