This year Lappa Valley Steam Railway is supporting Cornwall Accessible Activities Programme as its Charity of the Year.
CAAP is a charity formed by a group of parents of children with additional needs, to support families to access activities during school holidays.
CAAP seeks grant funding to subsidise activities either just for the disabled child, for both the disabled child and their siblings or for the whole family to attend. Once registered, the child/young person will be issued a unique membership number which will enable them to to be booked onto a range of exciting activities through CAAP.
Lappa Valley's Managing Director, Keith Southwell said: "We are delighted to support this fantastic local charity. Working alongside CAAP we hope to be able to improve our inclusivity and accessibility to ensure that everyone can enjoy a great day out at Lappa Valley Steam Railway."
